Nascida em 1977, a Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (FCT-NOVA), é uma das unidades orgânicas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, vocacionada para o ensino e investigação nas áreas das ciências exactas, ciências biológicas, tecnologias e engenharias.

A aplicação foi inteiramente desenvolvida pelo Núcleo de Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Computadores (NEEC) da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, uma associação sem fins lucrativos composto pelos estudantes de MIEEC da FCT. O NEEC-FCT é atualmente constituído por 50 estudantes de eletrotécnica do 1º ao 5º ano que trabalham continuamente para dinamizar o núcleo

Born in 1977, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FCT-NOVA) is one of the organic units of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, dedicated to teaching and research in the areas of exact sciences, biological sciences, technologies and engineering.

The application was fully developed by the Center for Electrical and Computer Engineering (NEEC) of the Faculty of Science and Technology, a non-profit association made up of FCT's MIEEC students. NEEC-FCT is currently made up of 50 1st to 5th year students of electrotechnics who continually work to energize the core.
